As a college student, I know how hard it can be to grab something to  eat before running to class, sports or clubs….but this is IMPORTANT! Many people think that when they are trying to loose weight they should stop or cut back on their eating. Loosing weight and staying healthy is almost the complete opposite! Your body needs energy and food gives you that energy! Instead of not eating, eat HEALTHY! Here is a healthy grab and go snack that you can make a big amount of and save for the whole week, or make something quick for right now! You can substitute any of the ingredients in here for something else but remember….this should be healthy and give you energy!

On the Go Trail Mix

Ingredients:

Almonds

Peanuts

Cashews

M&Ms

Raisins (or any dried fruit of your choice)

Put all ingredients into a small container (or plastic bag if you are in a rush) Mix up and enjoy!

See? This healthy snack will keep you going in between your big meals. You can make a big batch and pick on it throughout the week! Remember, do NOT just sit there with the whole container! (it is very easy to do) Make sure you portion control! There is such a thing as TOO MUCH!!!!
